Eryldene's very own hand crafted marmalade is for sale. Our resident expert ‘Mr Marmalade’ has made it plain (375g), or with whisky, cointreau or grand marnier (275g) from Eryldene's own Joppa Oranges which grow in the large terra cotta tubs in the front garden.

The Joppa might have come out on the First Fleet, and was certainly growing in Sydney by 1828. It is sweet, juicy and prolific. Its bright orange globes greet Eryldene visitor and cockatoos alike, and this year's netting allowed a bumper crop. Ideal as an accompaniment to breakfast toast, roast lamb, bread and butter pudding etc.

A bespoke Eryldene gift for special friends, or for yourself at Christmas, perhaps combined with a Moongate Teatowel at $30.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of Eryldene.
