The Lawn Court at the rear of the historic house can comfortably accommodate 100 people (or up to 200 if seated theatre style). The open, slightly raised oriental Tea-House is the ideal backdrop for more formal ceremonies like weddings, and speeches at birthday or anniversary gatherings. And the arched Moon-Gate, opposite the Tea-House, allows brides to make a memorable, romantic entrance to the Court area.

The well-maintained, mature garden provides a private, relaxed, and romantic setting for your function. It's often awash with colour - particularly when the camellias and azaleas are in full bloom, or the maple leaves are turning in autumn.

Excellent photographic opportunities abound. Popular locations within the garden include the Temple, the front lawns, pathways and entrance steps to the house, and the Moon-Gate and Tea-House surrounds. Eryldene is frequently used for fashion photography shoots, and many brides who hold their wedding ceremony in Church have their photographs also taken in Eryldene's magnificent garden.

Your caterers have full use of the kitchen areas, should you choose to offer a glass of champagne or sumptuous canapes to your guests.

In the event of wet weather, the front veranda area and the two loggias at either end of the verandah, are available, and marquees can be erected on the Court.
